"When people ask me what a Devon Rex is
like l always chuckle and then explain that
they are a cross between a cat, a dog, a
monkey and Dennis The Menace or if it’s
a girl, Minnie The Minx. Devon Rex just
have so much love to give and even from
a young kitten , they are just so full of the
love of life."

Hello and welcome to the home of Rexiru Devon Rex.
My name is Emma Warrener and l live in Coventry, West Midlands, with my partner James and our loveable tribe of felines.

We are currently owned by six Devon Rex, two Mainecoons and not forgetting our original moggie, Sasha.

My breeding prefix name, which is issued by GCCF, is REXIRU. I wanted a name that would have meaning for many years to come.  The name was chosen by James who nicknamed my very first Devon Rex Lexi, 'Rexiru'.
Who is also my very own dream come true.

"Devon Rex are no ordinary cats! If you enjoy being enslaved for life and like naughty, quirky, fun and life loving felines, then the Devon Rex may just be for you."

Why I chose a Devon Rex?

It all started when I decided to visit the Supreme Cat Show
for the very first time in 2001.  l had been reading about
various pedigree breeds and decided to go and have a look.
At this time we only had our two rescue moggies and were looking at Snowshoe’s or Singapura’s to join our family. Read more...

I have to be registered with the GCCF The Governing Council of Cat Fancy.  This is where you are issued with your prefix.
They are also a great source of information
on showing your Devon Rex and the breed standards.
